We are excited to announce that the Call for Proposals (CFP) for the HPSF 2027 Conference is officially open!
HPSF Conference, scheduled for April 12–16, 2027 in Montreal, Quebec, is where developers and users of some of the most critical software projects in High Performance Computing (HPC) come together to shape the future. Hosted by the High Performance Software Foundation (HPSF), this event is dedicated to advancing community-driven, production-ready solutions for performance, portability, and productivity in a rapidly evolving HPC landscape.
With its focus on engineering and community building, the HPSF Conference is a unique opportunity to illuminate the emerging challenges of integrating AI usage and accelerated computing into the development processes for the software products HPC relies on. Together, we’ll explore how open source collaboration and a unified foundation for high performance software can unlock new possibilities for addressing the most challenging science and engineering computing problems.
This year’s conference will once again bring together the brightest minds, leading innovators, and passionate community members from across our ecosystem. We are looking for industry experts, thought leaders, and practitioners to share their insights, research, and experiences with our global audience.

Whether you are proposing a lightning talk, a deep-dive technical session, or an interactive panel discussion, we encourage submissions of the following formats:
- Session Presentation – 25 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A/Transition
- Lightning Presentation – 8 minutes + 2 minutes for Q&A/Transition
- Panel Discussion – 55 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A/Transition
- Poster Presentation
