HPSF at SC’24

The High Performance Software Foundation (HPSF) is at SC’24 this week!

We’re in the exhibit hall and hosting a Birds of a Feather (BoF) session that offers a deep dive into the organization, its initiatives, and how you can play a role in shaping the future of high performance software.

Why Attend the HPSF BoF Session?

The High Performance Software Foundation (HPSF) is a new umbrella project within the Linux Foundation. It aims to build, promote, and advance a portable core software stack for HPC by increasing adoption, lowering barriers to contribution, and supporting HPC open source projects. HPSF was announced at SC23 and officially formed this May at ISC24. At SC24, here’s what you can expect:

  • Meet the Leaders: Engage with HPSF’s governing board, founding members, and project leaders. Learn firsthand about their vision for HPC software and the challenges they’re tackling.
  • Explore HPSF Initiatives: Discover the foundation’s initiatives, including its work on CI infrastructure, educational events, training programs, and the strategic roadmap for the coming year.
  • Get Involved: The HPSF thrives on community contributions. Find out how you can join the effort, whether as a developer, researcher, or advocate for open source HPC solutions.
